Stakeholder forum
The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland’s stakeholder forum works to support and improve two‑way communication between the regulator and the charity sector.
The forum meets four times a year. It is chaired by Elaine Armstrong (Cedar Foundation) with Ian Simpson (NIPSCBF) as Vice Chair. Members serve for three years and are chosen to represent a broad mix of charities of different sizes, locations and types. The forum’s Terms of reference are linked at the side.
After three years in operation, forum members carried out a review at an in‑person meeting in November 2024. The session was facilitated by Leeann Kelly (NICVA) with Aoife Hamilton, Deputy Chief Commissioner, also taking part in the review.
