The direct benefits which flow from the purposes include the furthering of teaching, knowledge and information of the Orthodox Christian Faith as held and expressed in the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR). The direct benefits also include pastoral care for Orthodox Christians, and the opportunity for furthering of spiritual well-being

for all. Through feedback from beneficiaries and the general public. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. Members of the local community and Orthodox Christians. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes of the Charity.

What your organisation does

The charity exists to advance the Orthodox Christian faith and provide spiritual, pastoral, and educational support to the public. The charity benefits members of the local community, Orthodox Christians living in Northern Ireland, and any person who wishes to attend services, receive pastoral care, or learn about the Orthodox Christian

faith. The charity carries out this purpose through public worship services, religious education, pastoral support, community activities, and charitable outreach. All worship services and many activities are open to the public.

Charitable purposes

3.1. The Objects are specifically restricted to the following: (a) to promote the Eastern Orthodox Christian Faith as held and expressed in the holy scriptures, holy tradition, and the canons, under the Episcopal care of the ROCOR; and in this regard being organised and established, to promote the teaching and practice of the Orthodox Christian Faith, to care pastorally for the Orthodox Christian community in Belfast in particular and Northern Ireland in general, to facilitate liturgical worship, receiving into the Church those who sincerely wish to freely adopt and live according to the Church's moral and spiritual guidance, upholding these purposes and any related charitable purpose. Nothing in the Constitution will authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not exclusively charitable in accordance with any statutory provision regarding the meaning of the word “charitable”, or the words “charitable purposes”, in force in any part of the United Kingdom and/or Republic of Ireland and/or the European Union or elsewhere.
