The direct benefits flowing from the organisation’s purpose are: - an improved sense of wellbeing for those attending the outworking of a moral framework in which service-users can be good citizens and the spiritual, moral and intellectual development. - the beneficiaries, as identified in purposes, Pastoral support for families deemed to be a risk

or suffering food or fuel poverty and signposting to relevant agencies for ongoing support. Increased life expectancy, reduction in self-harm, suicide and in the need for prescription medication. - an increased sense of community cohesion, a collective approach to community issues and an equipping off the people of the area in which we live. - increased employment and further education opportunities, improvement in literacy and numeracy skills and increased confidence in education for those lacking in qualifications. - an opportunity for every person within the area to avail of services regardless of personal circumstance and a sharing of knowledge right across the area without the issue of cost. - increased opportunity of gaining employment, reduction in mental health problems due to unemployment, reduction in those requiring support to feed families and an upping of the skills base within the Bessbrook area. The benefits flowing from all of the above will be evidenced in feedback from our service-users taken in the form of conversation, online surveys and day to day engagement. Adequate numbers of trained staff and volunteers are present and risk assessments are completed on a daily basis. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes of Fair Havens Harbour. The charities beneficiaries are those within the Bessbrook area who avail of the services provided. The vast majority of service-users, although not exclusively, are families with young children. The services offered are open to all within the Bessbrook area free of any charge. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes of Fair Havens Harbour.

We seek to make a difference in the lives of people living within and around our communities where God has placed us. We believe that Love simply responds to human need and at Fair Havens Harbour we want to offer: Hope. Acceptance. Encouragement. Healing. Love. Support. Time. Understanding. We would seek to achieve this through creating a safe and

secure environment. We would seek to offer: Counselling Rooms, Prayer Rooms Bereavement Support Bible Studies Christian Worship and Prayer Meetings Community outreach Fair Havens Harbour will be a place where the Love of God can be shared through providing a safe place to listen and support.

Charitable purposes

To promote the well-being of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland and its environs and in particular the Bessbrook area, without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion by all or any of the following means in so far as is exclusively charitable. The advancement of the Christian religion for the benefit of the public within the Bessbrook and surrounding areas. The prevention and relief of poverty within the Bessbrook area. The preservation and protection of health and life within the Bessbrook area. The advancement of education within the Bessbrook area. The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by ensuring all our services and outworking of our purposes are as accessible to every section of the local community as is physically possible regardless of social standing or personal circumstance. And generally improve the conditions of life for the said inhabitants by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to meet our objectives in accordance with the benefit to the greater Bessbrook community.
