The charity fundraises and organises regular fitness sessions and similar activities - either free of charge or at a minimal cost to service users, in order to optimise accessibility for all. The sessions are designed to attract young people who would otherwise be socially isolated, and provides support to their families and carers by coming

together to share experience, co-design services and support each other.

Charitable purposes

The Purposes of the Charity Are: a. to provide an opportunity for young people with Severe Learning Disability to exercise, get involved in fitness and communicate and connect with peers while participating in group activities. b. to reduce isolation and increase social networks of young adults with Severe Learning Disability in the Newcastle-Castlewellan region and the surrounding local areas. c. to provide opportunities for skills development , capacity building and learning of young adults with Severe Learning Disability in the area. d. to advance the health and wellbeing of young people with Severe Learning Disability and their families and carers in Newcastle-Castlewellan and the surrounding area.
