Public benefits

We provide high quality and safe and secure day care services for children aged 0-5 years. Our services are affordable and therefore support the relief of poverty in our community by allowing other family members to access employment opportunities. Another direct benefit is the improvement in and development of the physical and mental health and

wellbeing of the children in our care - who are cared for in an environment where they live, learn and play by enjoying the outdoors, healthy nutrition and experience a wide range of opportunities for recreation, learning and leisure activities. These benefits will be demonstrated by brining positive and lasting change to our families and our communities - by creating neighbourhoods in which children will flourish and reach higher levels of educational attainment in addition to improved physical and mental health and wellbeing, and in which other family members are able to seek employment opportunities whilst having the peace of mind of knowing that their 0-5 year old children are enjoying affordable and high quality daycare No Children and their families in Lisburn and its environs No

What your organisation does

Little Weavers Daycare provides daycare for children aged 0-5 years and aims to be a “home from home”. Our curriculum provides a variety of learning opportunities to meet the needs of individual children with a particular emphasis on children enjoying the outdoors. We have a beautiful natural play space where the children can explore nature,

create mud pies and look after the wildlife, all filled with exciting learning opportunities. The Little Weavers Daycare building is a magical place steeped in history. We are situated in the Old Hilden Primary School which originally opened in 1912. The building has been beautifully restored – and now provides an attractive and sustainable environment within which all are proud to live, learn, play and work.
