Public benefits
Pupils benefit from improved educational opportunities through additional resources, equipment and experiences funded by the PTFA. The school community benefits from stronger relationships between parents, staff and others connected with the school. Pupils benefit from enhanced wellbeing and engagement through events, activities and projects
supported by the PTFA. The school benefits from increased parental involvement, which supports a positive learning environment. Funds raised are used to purchase educational materials, equipment or services that directly support pupils’ learning. Feedback from staff, parents and pupils shows improved engagement and enjoyment of school activities. Attendance at PTFA‑organised events demonstrates increased community involvement. The school can evidence improvements in facilities or opportunities that would not have been possible without PTFA support. No. The organisation’s activities are designed to support and enhance pupils’ education and wellbeing. All activities are risk‑assessed and carried out in line with school policies to ensure the safety and welfare of children and adults. The primary beneficiaries are the pupils of the school. Secondary beneficiaries include parents, carers, school staff and the wider school community, who benefit indirectly through improved relationships and enhanced school resources. Any private benefit is incidental and necessary to achieving the charity’s purposes. For example, parents, carers or staff may enjoy social events or improved facilities, but these benefits arise only as a by‑product of activities undertaken to advance pupils’ education and wellbeing. No individual receives any financial or undue private benefit.
What your organisation does
Our organisation carries out its purpose by organising events and activities that bring together parents, staff and the wider school community, such as fairs, discos, fundraising initiatives and information sessions. We raise funds to provide additional resources, equipment and experiences that enhance pupils’ education and wellbeing. We also work
closely with school leadership to identify needs, support learning opportunities, and encourage positive relationships between families and the school.
