CPPA aims to promote, maintain, improve and advance global peace and harmony by connecting individuals and communities through the arts and more particularly (but not limited to) dance, drama and other performing arts. It thus promotes the ‘advancement of the arts, culture, heritage or science’ and the ‘advancement of human rights, conflict

resolution or reconciliation or the promotion of religious or racial harmony or equality and diversity’.

Charitable purposes

The Charity’s Objects are specifically restricted to: (a) promote, maintain, improve and advance global peace and harmony by connecting individuals and communities through the arts and more particularly (but not limited to) dance, drama and other performing arts; (b) such other exclusively charitable purposes according to the laws of Northern Ireland as the Trustees may from time to time decide. Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with s.2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
