The direct benefit flowing from the advancement of education and to promote the benefit of people of Bangladeshi origin is that children are taught the Bangla language in N.Ireland. From time to time helping children in Bangladesh with their schooling. Bangladeshi people are supported and helped whenever in need Reducing isolation by bringing

families together to socialise and feel part of the community. Enhancing social wellbeing by providing a space where Bangladeshi people can pray together in the Bangla language so that their spiritual and religious needs are met. Bangladeshi children born in Northern Ireland will be able to learn about the cultural and heritage of their parents, and wider families and will have an understanding of the different Bangladeshi lifestyles and customs. assist in the provision of emergency aid to people in need so that there basic human needs are met for food, shelter and clothing. the number of children attending classes will demonstrate the progress in the language. They will have the opportunity to speak Bangla at the community events. Providing financial assistance to improve the education of children in Bangladesh. attendance at Jumma prayers on a Friday evening, will not only help the people to pray in a safe space, but to come together as a community. Attendance at various social activities organised for families which will in turn encourage further interaction in the community. Once we have a venue we will be able to organise more social activities. the number of children attending classes will demonstrate the interest in the language and the attendance at cultural events by the wider community. When an emergency happens like the floods that devastated certain parts of the country, we will be able to send financial aid to help people with basic emergency aid and shelter. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes, only good. people of Bangladeshi origin in Belfast and NI and also in Bangladesh there is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

Charitable purposes

The Association is established for the advancement of education and to promote the benefit of people of Bangladeshi origin in Northern Ireland and in Bangladesh (herein after called the “area of benefit”) and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for the beneficiaries who are in need of such facilities by reason of their social and economic circumstances, so that their conditions of life may be improved; without distinction of age, gender, religious or political beliefs and in particular: a) to relieve poverty, to promote the preservation and protection of health and to provide or assist in the provision of emergency aid to people in need of such assistance as a result of their poverty or social and economic circumstances in Bangladesh; b) to raise awareness of the history, folklore and cultural heritage of people of Bangladeshi origin for the benefit of Bangladeshi children born in Northern Ireland.
