What your organisation does

Cormeen Social and Economic Regeneration Partnership (CSERP) is a community-led organisation addressing the social, economic, and environmental needs of Cormeen and its surrounding rural areas. We work with local residents, voluntary groups, and statutory agencies to identify priorities and deliver sustainable solutions. CSERP operates from the

Cormeen Community Hub — a multi-purpose facility providing space for education, recreation, and community support. From this base, we deliver a range of programmes that improve quality of life and strengthen local capacity, including: Community Development & Social Enterprise — supporting local initiatives that create employment, promote self-reliance, and deliver social value. Education and Training — offering workshops, skills sessions, and youth programmes that promote lifelong learning and access to opportunities. Health and Wellbeing — providing activities that encourage fitness, mental health awareness, and positive lifestyles through sport and leisure. Inclusion and Equality — creating volunteering and participation opportunities for all, ensuring age, ability, or background are never barriers. Cultural and Heritage Activities — organising heritage projects and intergenerational events that build pride of place and social cohesion. Environmental Stewardship — promoting sustainability through recycling, conservation, and awareness initiatives that protect our landscape. Our programmes are delivered by dedicated volunteers, supported by trustees and community partners. CSERP promotes good governance, equality, and collaboration in all its work. Through these activities, we aim to build a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive rural community equipped to meet present and future challenges.
