The Trustees believe that each of the five purposes satisfy both elements of the public benefit requirement The organisation is open to men over the age of 18. The age restriction is in
place to permit the primary aim of the organisation which is to support men by creating a safe space for them to come together, where they7 can form friendships, learn new skills, and to offer & provide peer support There is no harm identified from any of the purposes The beneficiaries are men from the local community Active members of the organisation will benefit from the activities in that : I. their morale will be boosted by participating in gatherings, projects, and organised trips II. there will be distinct learning experiences III. their positive wellbeing will be enhanced as a result of spending time getting away from the stresses of modern life IV. they are provided with the ability to achieve a sense of belonging and purpose in their lives V. they will experience the opportunity to get out within the community, to share and discuss their personal experiences, and to offer solace & peer support
What your organisation does
The Organisation provides accommodation for members to gather regularly to meet with other members, participate in discussions, learn about opportunities in the local area, carry out projects utilising the workshop (which includes woodworking and other machinery), and organise projects for the good of the members and the local Community.
