Public benefits
The benefits will be the social inclusion of the elderly and vulnerable in our community by the provision, facilitating, sign posting and promotion of various services, community events, information gathering and external presentations. We aim to promote a healthier, safer and more active lifestyle for the elderly in a safe and timely manner. We
aim to provide day/bus trips to scenic and tourist attractions in the province to enhance social interaction and combat individual isolation. We aim to enhance more extended relationships with like minded groups and clubs in the surrounding areas. We will be holding our 'Huddle in the Hub' group in our community hub fortnightly on a Thursday 11.30 am - 1pm, providing a warm environment, with hot food and drink, games, information workshops, health presentations and providing external facilitators of various subjects/projects. We provide transport via private local community transport who collects individuals at their home and return again. There will be events organized that will include the members of our club and the local community. n/a The elderly and vulnerable of our community. n/a
