There are direct health benefits resulting from eating fresh vegetables anf fruit. In only one season the garden has produced a huge amount of fresh fruit and vegetables. What your organisation does

The Cranagh Gardening Club has a lease on about 2 acres of land which it is developing as a community garden with 27 raised beds for people to use. The Club manages the community garden to ensure that it is maintained to a high standard The Club organises social activities for members and for people living in the Aghagallon area to provide

opportunities for feople to come together The club organises a seed swap in March, a seedlling swap in April and produce share events throughout the summer The club organises educational talks by visitors on gardening related subjects throughout the winter.
