Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from our organisation's purposes include: Advancement of Education: Enhanced Learning Resources: Funds raised enable the purchase of educational equipment, technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, computer hardware/software), library books, and specialist teaching aids that directly enrich classroom learning and

curriculum delivery. This provides pupils with access to up-to-date tools and materials that might not otherwise be available through standard budgets, thereby improving the quality and scope of their education. Curriculum Enrichment: We facilitate supplementary educational experiences such as subsidising educational trips, workshops, visiting speakers, and external programmes. These activities broaden pupils' horizons, provide practical application of classroom learning, and develop skills beyond the core curriculum. Promotion of Pupil Health, Well-being, and Development: Improved School Environment: Funds contribute to enhancements in the school's physical infrastructure, such as playground equipment, outdoor learning spaces, and improvements to communal areas. These direct benefits create a safer, more stimulating, and enjoyable environment conducive to physical activity, social interaction, and overall emotional well-being. Support for Extracurricular Activities: We help fund clubs, sports teams, arts programmes, and other extracurricular opportunities. Participation in these activities fosters teamwork, leadership, creativity, and physical health, contributing significantly to pupils' holistic development and personal growth. Inclusivity and Accessibility: A fundamental aspect of our public benefit is that the benefits are available to all pupils enrolled at Craigavon Senior High School, without distinction. The resources and opportunities provided by the PTA are integrated into the school environment, ensuring that pupils from all socio-economic backgrounds, abilities, and needs can access and benefit from them equally. We will provide a breakdown annually of clear figures of funds allocated to specific educational resources (e.g., "£5,000 spent on new library books," "£3,200 invested in coding club equipment"). Participation Rates: If funding specific programmes or trips, we track the number of pupils who participated, Case Studies: Information about how a specific PTA-funded initiative transformed a learning opportunity for a group of students.Investment in Facilities: providing the amount spent on improving the physical environment Participation in Extracurriculars: Track attendance numbers for PTA-funded clubs, sports, or arts activities. This will be presented in the annual report presented at the AGM No Pupils enrolled at Craigavon Senior High School There is no private benefit that outweighs the public benefit, and any private benefit (e.g., convenience for parents attending events) is purely incidental to the overarching charitable purpose.

What your organisation does

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is dedicated to enriching the educational experience and well-being of pupils at Craigavon Senior High School. We achieve this by organising a diverse range of fundraising activities throughout the academic year. These include popular events such as school fairs, discos, cake sales, sponsored challenges, and

community-focused gatherings. Funds raised are directly invested in vital resources, equipment, and experiences that enhance learning, support extracurricular activities, and improve school facilities for the benefit of all pupils.
