Local GAA clubs opened for new residents and visitor who see walls etc as barrier's Have to increase our volunteer numbers festival has limited expansion plans How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? Feedback that ICF sees now as so essential from audience members, performers, Volunteers and members of the public. This feedback at review stage tells ICF if an event is working and if not, what has to be done to make it more positive or to cancel. Feedback at individual events can demonstrate the potential to expand or not. Audience numbers though ICF is working with Thrive on this on how to increase numbers. The varied performance spaces has been commented positively by performers and audience members. This indicates that the organisers do listen to feedback and do act positively. When performers interact with other participants this can lead to creating new events. The idea of workshops after or before August festival came from chat between volunteers and performers. The committee have collected video footage and photographic evidence of events. this is used to advertise the Festival, to demonstrate that it is for all, ages, genders and Cultures Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? All events are risked assessed, even at creation stage. All precautions are taken but the unknown is something any festival has to deal with. ICF have asked all volunteers if they would undertake first Aid training, a map is issued to volunteers of where all life buoys are situated along with location of defibrillators whether interior or exterior. The health and safety of all volunteers, all audience and all performers is a priority of the organisors. This means increasing our number of volunteers and offering training along side this. The unknown is something that can only be reacted to even if all precautions have been taken. The two events we take great care are, assessed with risk of harm or injury, daily Trad cruises and Beat On The Streets cycle city tour! What your organisation does

Iur Cinn Fleadh is a five day Arts festival that finishes on August Bank holiday. Iur Cinn Fleadh has no part/full time staff or office premises. It was set up and been maintained since 2014 by its small core of volunteers. Each year planning takes place of events to satisfy all ages and interests, Included is the planned creation of wall murals

within Newry city. Trad cruises allow people to sail upon Newry Ship Canal, Dancing on the Greens involves co-operation with local Community groups. Since 2023 Iur Cinn Fleadh has been able to include an Ethnic dance group. There are children's events, poetry and even a cycle tour with an Irish rapper leading the cyclists. Iur Cinn fleadh believes in breaking down barriers that isolate or exclude. We have events that develop the Irish Language and events for cross community ineraction. The group has a dedicated funding officer who sets out to attain the required funds for this event. Since 2024 to increase awareness of Iur Cinn Fleadh and to open new funding streams, Iur Cinn Fleadh has a formal cross border link with an organisation that in 2024 sent a flotilla of boats up Carlingford lough and into Victoria locks to sail on the ship canal. Through our Cross community approach, certain churches have gratefully opened up their churches to become performance spaces. Since 2023 Iur Cinn Fleadh has co-operated with Volunteer Now to increase the number of volunteers during the five day festival. We are focused on increasing the size of our committee to include more young people, more female inclusion and to encourage more involvement from ethnic groups that reside within Newry. Due to the make up of our volunteers we are limited in what we have done and will do. We maintain the festival but know expansion is limited due to the pressures on our volunteers at all levels. The volunteers believe in the future potential of Iur Cinn Fleadh. This is our driving force to achieve more within limitations,
