The direct benefits that flow from purposes of St Mary’s Primary School Parent Teacher Association are that our association works to foster the extension of relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and facilitation and organisation of social,

educational and fund-raising activities, all of which contributes to supporting the school and advancing the education of the pupils. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? The benefits of St Mary’s Primary School Parent Teacher Association activities are demonstrated by increased relationships and communication between all those associated with the school and pupils having access to social and educational activities and resources, which are additional to those made possible through direct school funding. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? There is no harm flowing from the purposes of St Mary’s Primary School Parent Teacher Association Who are the charity's beneficiaries? The beneficiaries are the children attending Saint Mary’s Primary School Maguiresbridge Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? The only private benefit flowing from the association’s purposes are that St Mary’s Primary School Parent Teacher Association Saint Naile’s Primary School trustees are parents/carers of pupils at the school and/or teaching staff and hence can participate in all activities and use the resources provided, this is incidental and necessary to ensure that all eligible members of the community can potentially avail of these and benefit.

2.1 The Association is established for the advancement of education and the promotion of the welfare of pupils attending St Mary’s Primary School, by: • Developing effective relationships between staff, parents, and others associated with the school; and • Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils for the public benefit. 2.2 To foster more extended relationships and communications between staff, parents and others associated with the school. 2.3 To facilitate and organise social, educational and fund-raising activities, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
