are good citizens. - Spiritual benefits as commonly understood within a Christian Faith. • purpose 2 the advancement of education include: - Spiritual, moral and intellectual development, through the teaching of the Bible, both for members of the Living Waters Lurgan and any member of the public who attends our services and events. - The development of skills, knowledge and capabilities of members of Living Waters Lurgan who are involved in teaching at our services. - The promotion of citizenship and the need to give back to the community to all who attend these events. • purpose 3 the advancement of citizenship or community development include: - The encouragement and an improved sense of well-being of those who live in the locality of Living Waters Lurgan as they participate in the activities organised. - The entertainment of children through the provision of activities in a safe environment with a Christian ethos All of the above benefits will be demonstrated through feedback from our attendees, their families, our volunteers and the general public within the local community areas who attend our events. We do not anticipate that any harm will flow from any of the above purposes. The general public with our services and events being open to all, without distinction. We do not consider there to be any private benefit flowing from any of the above pur-poses.
What your organisation does
We are committed to the service of the local population in several areas of Church life. We minister as a local church, being available to the local area and beyond as a place to worship God and praise and thank Him as a body of people for His goodness to us. We provide various services and events as the year progresses to all ages in the community
such as: 1. A weekly service of worship each Sunday is open to the general public. 2. This includes regular Bible teaching for adults, and separate age-appropriate Sunday School programmes for children and young people. 3. Regular meeting for Bible study and prayer. 4. Programmes for children and young people which include games activities, arts & crafts activities, friendship opportunities and spiritual development. We provide a venue for the preaching of the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ, a power to change lives and bring a new sense of purpose and hope to believers irrespective of age, gender, background or culture.
