Public benefits
The direct benefits which follow from purpose 1: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school is that there are better links build with the local community. The direct benefits which follow from purpose 1: Engaging in activities or providing facilities of equipment that support the school and
advance the education of the pupils is that pupils can have access to events, activities and links with the local community which are not available through school funding. The benefits will be identified through pupil engagement and increase enhanced knowledge and understanding in young people of the school. No Pupils of Movilla High School. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.
What your organisation does
Movilla High School Parent, Staff and Friends Association carries out its purpose by the sale of tuck at school events i.e. Christmas Fair and School Discos, raffling prizes at the Christmas Fair, having a Santa Grotto at the Christmas Fair, holding school discos for Junior classes. Monies raised since we started been spent on a Defibrillator,
laptop to support SEN pupils in their KS4 exams, a new sound system to better the activities the school can put on i.e. concerts, frames to display pupil art work and rewards for the termly rewards ceremonies.
