Recitals organised for winners in churches, concert halls and cathedrals across the world promotes

enjoyment and understanding of music and in particular the organ as an instrument. Participants also enhance their CVs and reputation in the field through success in competition. The audience that witness these performances also benefit through the enjoyment of witnessing the performance and adjudication. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? The charity's beneficiaries are the individuals who participate in the competitions, concerts and events organised by the charity as well as the audience that witness the performances. What your organisation does

The Northern Ireland International Organ Competition is for organists aged 21 and under. The Competition offers substantial monetary prizes, prestigious recital opportunities and masterclasses with leading organists across the globe. We created the competition to discover great young talent and give them a platform to show everyone what they can

do. The competition continues to grow year on year as we attract top organists from the UK & Ireland and beyond.

Charitable purposes

NIIOC is established to advance education, to promote the arts and to develop appreciation of the art and science of organ music in all its aspects to the benefit of the public without distinction of age, gender, disability, political religious or other opinions, or social or economic circumstances, in particular: a) To promote the musical education of young persons: b) To provide opportunities for young people to develop and enhance skills associated with organ playing: c) To provide opportunities to play in and experience competitions and public concerts and such other musical events as the Committee shall deem suitable.
