What your organisation does
Cultúrlann Caisleán Ruairí, formerly Rostrevor Institute of Culture, was established in 1994 by a group of academics, artists and business people drawn from all sections of the local community. The Cultúrlann has since become an established group devoted to the advancement of our shared cultural heritage through the arts, promoting healing through
learning and mutual understanding. The Cultúrlann acts as an umbrella organisation for projects and groups which are set up and run by our members, on a fully voluntary basis, in line with our purposes. These projects have included arts events, lectures on shared cultural heritage, concerts with culturally significant music and cross-community festivals and events.
