Purpose (a) This benefit can be demonstrated by the use of funds to prevent and relieve poverty through the provision of financial grants used to provide basic living essentials such as heat, food, and clothing and towards the supply of medical aides, clinical support and treatment. Purpose (b) The benefit which flows from this purpose is the

relief of poverty associated with social isolation by advancement of education and improved job prospects helping members become self-sufficient by giving them a hand up. Purpose (c) The benefit which flows from this purpose is is the relief of poverty associated with social isolation by the promotion of community development and the maintaining of cultural and heritage traditions. Purpose (d) The benefit which flows from this purpose is is the relief of poverty associated with social isolation by advancement of citizenship or community development. This benefit can be demonstrated by: Purpose (a) the use of funds to prevent & relieve poverty associated with social isolation through the provision of financial grants used to provide basic living essentials such as heat, food, & clothing & towards the supply of medical aides, clinical support & treatment. Purpose (b) the use of funds to prevent & relive poverty associated with social isolation to pay for further education, training courses & associated licenses necessary to gain employment or improve their job prospects. Purpose (c) the use of funds the use of funds to prevent & relive poverty associated with social isolation to pay towards the cost of Battlefield Tours, Battle Honour Commemorations & Parades & public community engagement events. Purpose (d) the use of funds the use of funds to prevent & relive poverty associated with social isolation for community based projects such as sports & recreational facilities to improve conditions for former members & their families. There is no potential for any harm as a result of the purposes being carried out. Purpose (a) The intended beneficiaries of this purpose are those members who have served in The Royal Irish Rangers along with their widows and/or dependents. Purpose (b) The intended beneficiaries of this purpose are those members who have served in The Royal Irish Rangers along with their dependents. Purpose (c) The intended beneficiaries of this purpose are those members who have served in The Royal Irish Rangers along with their dependents. Purpose (d) The intended beneficiaries of this purpose are those members who have served in The Royal Irish Rangers along with their dependents. No private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

Charitable purposes

(a) To render aid, financial or otherwise, to members their widows and/or dependants who are in needy circumstances or in serious difficulties. (b) To assist members to obtain suitable employment in civilian life or to improve their chances of success in their civilian employment. (c) To provide opportunities for members to keep in touch through organised activities and especially as between serving and ex-serving members. (d) To foster and further in whatever way may seem desirable the well-being of the Regiment.
