“The direct benefits which flow from our purposes include improved gardening and horticulture practice and skills, sharing knowledge and experience, improved health and wellbeing of participants, living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. We will promote protection of the environment, biodiversity while avoiding the use of pesticides and

chemicals. Provide opportunities for local wildlife to thrive. We will share skills about growing food to alleviate food poverty and encourage seasonal eating. The benefits will be demonstrated by the diverse participation of the community: in growing food and flowers and environmental care. the consideration of local wildlife, reduction of harmful impacts, while sharing knowledge of local growing and biodiversity. growing organic produce for community meals, enhancing well-being and reducing social isolation. We will monitor and evaluate our project to ensure demonstration of these benefits and effectively measure the impact of the organisation regularly. There will be no harm. The beneficiaries will be those of all ages, genders, and abilities from Warrenpoint and surrounding districts who attend activities and events. We will share good practice in horticulture and gardening to the whole community. There is no private benefit for Trustees and volunteers. Any benefit they will gain is from experience and knowledge through activities and events and is incidental

Charitable purposes

1. To develop a community-based growing and wellbeing project, that will promote and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, skills, ideas, training, support and advice on all aspects of horticulture, sustainability and biodiversity. 2. To establish and maintain a community growing space and Green Hub, on land managed by the charity, in the area of need, Warrenpoint, Newry and Mourne District area. 3. To work with the community, voluntary statutory and business sectors to build on shared values of positive mental health and wellbeing through horticulture, environmental and sustainability projects. 4. To actively promote social inclusion, diversity and equality through openness, transparency and good governance and to value the unique contribution of everyone in the community.
