Charitable purposes

The charity was established in August 2022 for the advancement of environmental protection and improvement through conserving and enhancing Belfast’s natural habitats. The charity will do this by providing a platform for members and the community in terms of guidance and resources to understand, protect and enhance our communities and biodiversity throughout Belfast and its wider metropolitan area, and also through: a.Promoting biodiversity through advocation and lobbying b.Promoting the recording of biodiversity c.Upskilling communities and the group’s membership to further the group’s purposes d.Practical, creative and engaging action to help deliver the group’s purposes e. Empowering, inspiring and celebrating artists and creatives to showcase Belfast's natural heritage and embedding artistic approaches in the delivery of events and projects f.Embed our activities within the framework of the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals
