Public benefits

Barn on the Hill Christian Fellowship (BOTH) meets the public benefit requirement by providing benefit to its members and the general public by making known the Christian Gospel through the advancement of religion. The direct benefits which flow from the purposes of BOTH include the gaining of an understanding in Christian beliefs as set out in the

Bible. This, in turn, leads to spiritual and moral development and opportunities for response to Bible teaching. As a result of the foregoing, people may respond to the Christian message and practically express their faith by caring for those in need (such as the elderly, the sick, and young people). Therefore, the general public, and not just members of BOTH, benefit from the activities of BOTH. The benefits of the activities of BOTH are demonstrated by the increasing number of people who are attending BOTH's services of worship and religious activities. Furthermore, the benefits are demonstrated by the activities of BOTH and members of the Church who seek to serve in their local communities for the betterment of society. There is no harm which arises from any of the purposes of BOTH. The beneficiaries of BOTH are its members and the general public. There is no private benefit which flows from any of the purposes of BOTH.
