Advance the education of pre-school age children to facilitate a successful transition into primary school learning. Children's progress is monitored throughtout their duration at the playgroup and this is communicated with the children's parents/carers. Benefits of the children's learning is evident when children leave and transition successfully

to primary school. No Children and parents/carers in the local community as well as local primary schools. No private benefits.

What your organisation does

The Nursery provides a safe space within the local community centre. They have four level 3 qualified staff who provide daily activities, ranging from role play, sand/water play, painting, construction, small world activities, reading, song time and physical activities. Through all these activities the children learn and progress through nursery

making them ready for their next step in education. Staff regularly undertake all necessary training to keep up to date with all legislation as required. The playgroup staff work alongside the local social services, who are the governing body for the playgroup, to ensure all guidance is being adhered to at all times. The nursery offers an inclusive environment, keeping parents/carers involved and updated on children's progress to ensure that all children are progressing as they should.

Charitable purposes

To promote a play-based learning environment for children within the local area who are under statutory school age. With the aim of enhancing the development and education of the by encouraging parents/guardians to understand and provide for the needs of their children. Offering appropriate play facilities in a safe and positive environment, with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the group, thus ensuring that the group offers opportunities for all children regardless of culture, race or means. Encouraging the study of the needs of the children and their families and promoting public interest and recognition of the needs of the children and their families in the local area. The group will support the values and principles of Early Years – The Organisation for Young Children.
