What your organisation does

Youth Hubs carries out its purpose through a multifaceted approach: • Direct Engagement and Programme Delivery: By establishing and maintaining local youth hubs, ensures that its services are youth-led and directly responsive to the needs of the community. These local hubs are instrumental in the design and execution of programmes that resonate

with and benefit the local young people. • Collaboration and Support for Community Initiatives: Youth Hubs collaborates with other youth-focused entities in the community to bolster their capacity and impact. This includes providing training for staff and volunteers, and enhancing their ability to offer effective youth services. • Advocacy and Policy Influence: Recognising the challenges posed by competing with statutory services, Youth Hubs actively lobbies for policies that prioritise and enhance the role of voluntary youth service providers. This advocacy ensures that youth services are not only available but are also comprehensive and continuous. In summary, Youth Hubs is dedicated to creating a nurturing and empowering environment for young people in Northern Ireland, addressing the urgent need for accessible, high-quality youth services that promote education and community development. Through its focused activities and strategic collaborations, Youth Hubs aims to ensure that young people have the opportunities they need to succeed and the support they require to build fulfilling and constructive lives.
