What your organisation does

Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál, established 6 months ago, has a clear mission: to provide high-quality tuition for anyone interested in learning or playing traditional Irish music in west Belfast. As a voluntary organisation, Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál is becoming an integral part of the local community, operating within a local family centre. Our key

features are our classes. Four classes running every Thursday evening with a short session at the end to bring all our learners together. These structured classes ensure a consistent standard of teaching, with regular reviews to maintain quality. Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál intend to keep fees as Affordable and Accessible as possible. Aiming to apply for funding to ensure these costs are keep to as low as possible. Reduced rates are available for families and for those learning a second instrument. The Social and Musical Benefits of Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál is that we recognise the importance of allowing pupils to play together in groups, fostering social connections, friendships and musical collaboration, encouraging our pupils to actively participate in community events, gigs, and sessions. Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál aim to run our first London College of Music grading session this Summer. Encouraging pupils to aim high and achieve a fully certified grade exam. Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál intends to run their first Traditional Irish Music Summer Scheme this Summer, playing a vital role in promoting traditional music, nurturing talent, and enriching the cultural fabric of the community. Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál provides high-quality tuition in traditional music across a diverse range of instruments. Pupils of all ages and abilities benefit from this educational endeavor. Moreover, Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál fosters collaborative learning by offering pupils opportunities to play together in various group settings.
