The direct benefits which flow from EUROCALL's purpose include: access to EUROCALL publications; access to membership community as well as digital platforms and social media; the opportunity for international research collaborations and partnerships; the sharing of knowledge. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback at the EUROCALL AGM ,

member attendance at our annual conference, membership renewals and the success of the EUROCALL publications. The purposes of our charity will lead to no harm. The charity's beneficiaries include scholars, researchers and practitioners. There is no private benefit flowing from EUROCALL's purposes.

What your organisation does

These purposes shall be achieved by means of: 1) the facilitation of knowledge transfer through annual conferences, Special Interest Group initiatives, and participation in co-operative research and education projects with European partners and also worldwide; 2) dissemination through publications of various kinds (such as the ReCALL journal, The

EUROCALL Review, and conference short papers/proceedings); 3) dissemination through digital platforms and social media; 4) collaboration and partnership with related international organisations (such as CALICO, ALT).

Charitable purposes

The purpose of EUROCALL is to advance education by: 1) promoting the digitally mediated learning and teaching of languages and cultures within Europe and also globally; 2) developing and maintaining a community of scholars, researchers and practitioners working in areas associated with the digitally mediated learning and teaching of languages and cultures; 3) providing a European focus for the promulgation of innovative research, development and practice in the area of the digitally mediated learning and teaching of languages and cultures in education and training.
