What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? The benefits flowing from our purpose is that we will provide opportunities for all tenants at Maine Fold Tenant Association to engage by creating and encouraging a sense of community within Maine Fold leading to regular events and social activities for over 55’s living
independently within Maine Fold. Helping to keep the tenants within Maine Fold active and reduce social isolation and loneliness suffered by many. How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated? Maine Fold Tenants Association will identify the benefits by carrying out regular post evaluation surveys after events/activities to receive feedback on the events/activities on how we can improve the events, at meetings we will add onto the agenda of Meetings Events Feedback. This will demonstrate any learnings to ensure we continue to hold events/activities that people want to attend. The Tenants Association will record the numbers of attendees at events and recognise if the number of attendees is small then people aren’t interested in this type of event and change the events depending on the needs, wants and requests from the beneficiaries. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? None. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? All the tenants of Maine Fold. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? None.
What your organisation does
Maine Fold Tenant Association holds regular events and social activities for over 55's living independently in Maine Fold. The events vary from coffee mornings, quiz sessions, to having intergenerational partnership connections with the local primary schools and the High School with having the children attend sessions to help with digital
training, sharing stories and gardening support. We encourage all tenants to get involved with events and encourage tenants to get involved in the gardening to get out and about in the fresh air, spend quality time together and brighten the gardens, we are very passionate and recently received the Keep NI Beautiful Green Flag award and very proud of this award, this motivates us all out in the gardens and having the support of the schools help. We also attend events and activities organised by other neighbouring schemes and use the local Community Transport Bus to enable us to attend events, which helps reduce isolation and has helped improve the Health and Wellbeing of the tenants at Maine Fold to keep a busy calendar.

Charitable purposes
The purpose of Maine Fold Residents Association ("the association") is to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Maine Fold and surrounding area without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance health, to preserve the environment and heritage of the area of benefit and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
