What your organisation does
Magheraveely & Killyfole Mens Shed is a group who have formed to operate a venue located at Killyfole to provide men with the opportunity to meet and socialise with others in a welcoming and comfortable environment. A core aspect of our group is using the range of tools and equipment present within our group workshop to provide men with
opportunity to share their skills and knowledge and take on new skills particularly in relation to woodworking. Our group have a range of equipment that allow men to participate in recreational and social activities while attending the shed. Our group are organising activities to provide support and information to assist members with their health and well-being, this will involve linking with other organisations and health professionals. Our group link with other community organisations and participate in community events with our local and wider area.
