Charitable purposes
To advance education and raise awareness about Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and it's related conditions both among medical professionals, to assist with early and correct diagnosis and enable them to support and advices patients on appropriate management, in schools and among the general public in Northern Ireland. To relieve the needs and improve the lives of people who have suffered or been affected by M.E. and its related conditions and their families and carers (the beneficiaries) in the area of benefit through the provision of advocacy, training, support groups, listening and advice; To protect and preserve the health and wellbeing of the beneficiaries through provision of a place for peer-to-peer support as well as expert help, advice and emotional; support which fosters an atmosphere of mutual support among the beneficiaries in the area of benefit and encourages them to provide mutual support and encouragement to each other.
