[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] - Improved educational outcomes for the children at the Buncsoil & Naíscoil Bheann Mhadagáin - Improved extra-curricular activities via the medium of the Irish language, exploring culture, arts, health & well-being. - Improved cohesion & identity for the whole school

community; parents, teachers & children, as well as the wider North Belfast Community. - Improved health & well-being across the whole school community, fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Increasing understanding and empathy with peers. Providing a platform for the children to have their voice heard and feel empowered by being involved and integral to the school continued development plan. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] Cairde BBM hold quarterly meeting with invited school staff, to feedback on improved educational outcomes of the children following investment from Cairde, i.e. IPads, books, sports equipment. It is the aim of Cairde to implement a participant engagement survey following any extra curricular activity funded by Cairde Surveys will provide information allowing Cairde to assess and review the need and format of provision and how best Cairde can engage and provide for the school’s needs in the future. To date this has not happen, given a change in Cairde’s Trustees and the absence of charitable status. What your organisation does

Cairde Bunscoil Bheann Mhadagáin aims to further the education through the medium of the Irish Language of children attending Bunscoil Bheann Mhadagáin and Naíscoil Bheann Mhadagáin by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the Bunscoil & the Naíscoil. As well as, foster more extended relationships between the

staff, the parents and others associated with the Bunscoil. Engage in activities which support the Bunscoil and advance the education of the pupils attending it. Provide or secure the provision of educational and recreational facilities at the Bunscoil & the Naíscoil. Organise extra-curricular activities carried out through the medium of the Irish language for the benefit of the children attending the Bunscoil & the Naíscoil in order to encourage their knowledge of and use of the language; activities such as Afterschool and out-of-school hours childcare. Provide, maintain and equip or assist in the provision, maintenance and equipment of premises and facilities designed to promote education at the Bunscoil & Naíscoil. Obtain, collect and receive money by way of grants, donations, bequests, legacies or other lawful method, provided that the association may not engage in any form of permanent trading.

Charitable purposes

The Association is established to: Further the education through the medum of the Irish Language of children attending Bunscoil Bheann Mhadagain (hereinafter referred to as 'the Bunscoil') and Naiscoil Bheann Mhadagain (hereinafter referred to as 'the Nascoil') by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the Bunscoil & the Naiscoil. As an ancillary therefto and in furtherance of this object the association may: Foster more extended relationships between the staff, the parents and others associated with the Bunscoil & the Naiscoil; and Engage in activities which support the Bunscoil & the Nascoil and advance the education of the pupils attending it.
