be demonstrated? This is demonstrated through pupils having access to resources, events, activities and links with the local community which are not available through direct school funding. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? This purpose does not lead to harm. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? The benefit is for current and future children who attend McClintock Primary School. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? Charity Trustees (PSG Committee Members) are usually parents from the school where their children attend and hence gain benefit in the same way as other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure that the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

Through having an active Parent Support Group which is able to fundraise and support with facilitating a number of events and activities for children. The Parent Support Group will purchase resources which further supports and enhances educational attainment, complementing the educational experience of children and families in the community.

Charitable purposes

McClintock Parents' Support Group, thereafter called the Group is established to advance education for primary aged children and their parents / carers and wider community to support learning, leading up to and throughout the childrens primary school life. It will do this by: • Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others within the school community. • Promoting and protecting the education and welfare of all the children attending the school. • Fostering parental pride and interest in the well being of the school. • Raising funds for the provision of resources, activities and amenities beyond the standard statutory provision for all the pupils at McClintock Primary School. All these aims and objectives are to be promoted without distinction of sex, race, politics or religion.
