benefits can be demonstrated by the delivery and participation of the programmes and events within the community. Additionally by providing a safe space where local residents are welcomed and listened to. The community premises was established as a hub for the community, encouraging local people to engage in the programmes that we facilitate. We will also provide volunteers with opportunities to engage with the community and learn new skills. Additionally the youth activities will also help to reduce anti social behaviour in the area. What your organisation does
We run a dribblers and scribblers club (otherwise known as Mother and toddlers) twice weekly, take children in a dance class once per week, run a football club once per week, carry out community clean ups up to four times per year, organise events at Christmas time such as Christmas fair with artisan markets. We also engage with a range of
partners to deliver the most effective services within the community with community consultations taken to identify need. This is the few things we do but hope to expand on this as the group grows.
