Public benefits
The direct benefit flowing from the purpose of providing relief to those in need will improve the lives of people with disabilities which have a serious impact on their lives by providing targeted support e.g. funding for equipment. In addition, the Charity aims to benefit Carers and families, including siblings by contributing to the alleviation
of stress through funding holiday breaks, day trips, respite etc. The benefits will be demonstrated primarily through feedback and anecdotal evidence provided by the beneficiaries. In addition, the Annual Report will provide evidence of how the Charity's purpose has provided direct, targeted and measurable benefits to the beneficiaries No People irrespective of age, ethnicity, religion, background, sexual orientation who have a disability which seriously impacts their lives and also their Carers and families including siblings who live within a 25 mile radius of Garvagh No
What your organisation does
The Charity’s Trustees will meet to consider applications for funding on a quarterly basis (or as required). Applications will need to meet the criteria for funding. The Trustees will agree and set the criteria for funding and the agreed criteria will govern the decision-making process. The Trustees must jointly agree against the criteria when
considering funding applications. Individual or unilateral decisions and approval of funding by Trustees is not permissible. The Charity introduced online an online application process in addition to paper based applications in September 2025. Funding is restricted to £1500 per application, however this may be exceeded in exceptional cases when the Trustees deem the need to warrant higher financial support.
