The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the improvement of well-being and quality of life of the residents in the area by enabling them to fully participate in society by preventing people from being socially excluded. This is done by relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate in

to society. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from beneficiaries and groups who run the activities. There is no identifiable harm to any person through the pursuit of the above organisational purpose The beneficiaries of this purpose are the residents of the Brandywell and surrounding areas. The private benefit is that gained by a Trustee who may avail of the services offered in the Club. This benefit is incidental and Trustees are members of the community. Trustees may also gain skills and experience and an increased sense of well-being through their role as Trustees of Long Tower Youth Club Ltd, however this benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure benefit is provided to beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

The club provides for the communities youth needs to; Provide young people with access to a high quality sporting and educational facilities. Significantly enhance standards in Group/Developmental work, Physical Education and Sport; particularly targeting marginalised young people who have had limited or no experience of structured youth provision.

Contribute to the renewal of one of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods, encouraging the physical and economic regeneration of the area, improving youth participation, progression, sport, education, health, and the environment. Sustain and enhance youth provision, arts and sport within the local community and throughout the wider region by contributing to more active and healthier lifestyles
