Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from our purposes are that young people in our areas will benefit in terms of enhanced personal and social development, and have increased civic responsibility and good citizenship from taking part in organised activities in their local community. The benefits can be demonstrated through informal and formal
evaluations with our members, such as focus groups and online surveys. We maintain records of all activities and include photos and videos that demonstrate participation and enjoyment of our members. They can also be identified through ongoing progression of our members from junior to senior to then becoming youth leaders and taking a role in the planning of the activites that are offered. The civic responsibility and good citizenship can be demonstrated through our members involvement in helping other local voluntary organisations and charitable causes. There is potential risk of injury to members when taking part in recreational and sports type activities, however this risk will be mitigated by engaging suitably qualified facilitators and carrying out risk assessments for all activities and programmes. Young people from the Hilltown village and surrounding Clonduff area are the charity's main beneficiaries, whilst the wider community in the area also benefits in terms of the Clubs contribution and participation in wider community events. No there is no private benefit.
