The public benefits which flow from the purposes are: (1) Advancement in health and well-being of people within the Lecale area, improvement of mental and physical health, improved fitness and well-being; (2) Reduction in social isolation and an increase in social networks resulting in enhanced quality of life; (3) Opportunities to

acquire, develop and share skills with others, increase capacity to learn new things, increase confidence, combat isolation and enhance quality of life. The benefits can be demonstrated through feedback from members and regular surveys and evaluations. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes The charity's beneficiaries are people living within the Lecale area who have an interest in social sports including hurling, camogie and GAA games. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the charities purposes, any private benefit is incidental.

What your organisation does

The charity carries out its purpose through the provision of recreational games and activities which offer rural isolated individuals an opportunity to increase social networks and improve mental and physical well-being. The charity will raise funds, receive grants and donations; - apply funds to carry out the work of the charity; - co-operate

with and support other charities with similar charitable purposes; - Organise physical and mental health awareness events;

Charitable purposes

The purposes of the charity are: 1. To promote participatio in amateur sports including hurling, camogie and GAA games for the social, mental, and physical well-being of people within the Lecale area (known as the area of benefit) without distinction of age, sex, race, political religious or other opinions. 2. To reduce social isolation and increase social networks of people living within the Lecale area through the provision of activities.
