Public benefits
The Foundation meets the Public Benefit in the following way: Through the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or another disadvantage by the development and delivery of social and community development initiatives in Causeway Coast and Glens area. All the Foundation's purposes are achieved by
awarding grants to charitable organisations for the benefit of people in Causeway Coast Glens Council area. All grants are awarded based on evidence that the funding will have a positive impact on the beneficiaries. All organisations that receive a grant are required to demonstrate the direct and indirect benefits their work has on people in need via monitoring and evaluation which the assessment team thoroughly review. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries are the residents of the Causeway Coast and Glens area. There is no private benefit. The benefits are demonstrated by asking for feedback from beneficiaries as to how they have been impacted and changed through the activities of the charity. There may be some incidental public benefit to staff, directors & volunteers who may need training, which will be incidental and is unavoidable
