What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? This charity provides welfare, education and social inclusion of people with hearing and/or sensory impairments, and promotes their ability to reach their full potential, and supports them to live independent and fulfilling lives by such charitable means. This charity provides
services for persons with hearing/sensory impairments and their family members/ carers, such as training, advice and support services, counselling, and interpretive services. This charity provides facilities and activities for education, recreation and leisure time occupation, for the benefit of people with hearing/ sensory impairments and their families/ carers, in the interest of social welfare, so that their conditions of life may be improved. This charity educates the public in sign language and other means of communication with persons with hearing/ sensory impairment and provides social housing/ accommodation to persons with hearing/ sensory impairments in need of such facilities, which promotes independent living. This charity promotes the integration of persons with hearing/ sensory impairments with the wider community and their access to services, facilities, education, housing and employment opportunities, by raising awareness of their needs, experiences and aspirations and the obstacles they face in everyday life, and promotes the provision of integrated services and services and facilities which are accessible and sensitive to their needs. family members/ carers, such as training, advice and support services, counselling, and interpretive services; provide facilities and activities for education, recreation and leisure time occupation, for the benefit of people with hearing/ sensory impairments and their families/ carers, in the interest of social welfare, so that their conditions of life may be improved; educate the public in sign language and other means of communication with persons with hearing/ sensory impairment; provide social housing/ accommodation to persons with hearing/ sensory impairments in need of such facilities, which promote independent living; promote the integration of persons with hearing/ sensory impairments with the wider community and their access to services, facilities, education, housing and employment opportunities, by raising awareness of their needs, experiences and aspirations and the obstacles they face in everyday life; and by promoting the provision of integrated services and services and facilities which are accessible and sensitive to their needs; undertake such other charitable purpose, or purposes, for the benefit of persons with hearing and/or other sensory impairments and their families/ carers as the Trustees may from time to time determine which are, or hereafter may be deemed, charitable under the law of Northern Ireland.
