Public benefits
The direct benefits are a sense of community to all involved encouraging friendships and bringing arts to a demographic group to whom it would normally be unavailable. The benefits will be demonstrated in the work produced which will be on exhibition for the local community, friendships/connections formed during classes and the enthusiasm of
participants to learn more. There is no harm anticipated. The beneficiaries are the local community. There is no private benefit.
What your organisation does
Mindcraft Dromore provides community based art classes to encourage the improvement of mental health, isolation, and marginalisation by providing a safe space for all to meet together and enjoy socialising while developing art skills taught by professional artists instilling the joy of arts and crafts and demonstrating its positive effects on
mental health.

Charitable purposes
The group shall be known as the Mindcraft Dromore the purpose of which shall be to promote the advancement of the arts, culture, heritage and support those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages through arts activities and mental health support encouraging engagement and socialisation. Mindcraft Dromore will act in all such ways that are exclusively charitable and, if necessary, to co-operate with other similar organisations both locally and nationally. The objects of the group are to promote the benefit of residents of the Dromore and surrounding areas without distinction of political opinion, sexual orientation, religious belief, disability, age, gender, race, marital status and family status or other opinion by engaging in and organising community activities and projects with the object of improving the quality of life of said residents.
