Public benefits

The Association believes the direct public benefits which flow from our purpose are to improve the quality of life and well being of youth and other beneficiaries from the area to help make a positive difference by promoting health through activities and events which will contribute to reducing feelings of social isolation, physical

inactiveness, poverty and marginalisation. There will be no harm flowing from our purpose. There may be private benefits eg increased physical health and wellbeing. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. The benefits can be demonstrated through the development of learning through group activities and participation by participants, which are transferable to other settings. The benefits which flow from this purpose include a greater interest in and understanding of the benefits of participating in activities for the improvement of overall health and well being. The benefits will be evidenced by regular participation in activities and interaction with others. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The charities beneficiaries are youth and general public from the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area. There may be private benefit eg increased physical health and wellbeing. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

The Association shall carry out its purposes by providing facilities for a range of activities for the use of participants in a safe and secure environment We will also co-operate to such an extent as may be necessary with voluntary and statutory agencies and inhabitants of the area of benefit so as to advance the said aims and objectives by

raising funds by way of donation, contributions and other lawful methods.

2.0 Aims and Objectives The Association is established to: 2.1 Relieve poverty, sickness and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Omagh and district area of Co Tyrone and its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit”) without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance: 2.1.1 Support and promote the spiritual, mental, social and physical well-being of young people through fellowship, sporting excellence, education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation or other leisuretime occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;
