[What are the direct benefits flowing m your organisation's purposes?] Our students, staff and parents/carers feel they are now equipped and supported with the tools to tackle any situation that might occur throughout the course of these engagements. Training/educating parents/wider family on best methods to care for child. Through the process of

information exchange, we enable our stakeholders to better understand and facilitate the additional needs of their children. Inviting the community to engage in fun social activities in partnership with Ardnashee School and college, broadening their understanding of inclusion and giving opportunities for our pupils to develop friendships in their local community, in a comfortable safe and confidence building environment. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] The organisation undertake periodic consultations and efficacy surveys with our service users. The aim of this is to gauge their happiness with the service provided as well as being a baseline for their progress throughout their engagement. In this way we can address any issues or holes in our delivery in a dynamic and quick manner, constantly evolving and improving the service. Benefits are also illustrated through the work that the organisation actually does, from the facilitation and delivery of bespoke courses and workshops and child-orientated activities. As well as these, the group also produce guidance and advice for planning trips out, by equipping or service users with the tools to identify safe spaces and how to handle behavioural outbursts, supporting their child to co-regulate and having the confidence to do so. [Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes?] No [Who are the charity's beneficiaries?] Students, Staff, Parents/Carers, wider community. [Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary?] No

What your organisation does

The FoA board work in consultation with our stakeholders , who consist of the pupils, staff, BoG and parents/carers of pupils, to understand how we can provide therapies and interventions outside of the school curriculum. We fundraise in the local community to provide these services, or work in partnership with Ardnashee School and College to

invite local businesses onto the school site, so that pupils can access experiences which may be otherwise not be able to access outside of a safe and familiar environment. This also helps widen the understanding of special educational needs within the wider community. We do this through: A monthly Family support group: • Provide Courses/training • Wellbeing activities for parent/carers • Social opportunities for parents/carers to create bonds, share experiences and build friendships which will minimise any feeling of isolation or seclusion • Access to allied services for advice and guidance, supporting families to understand community services and financial entitlements that they can access, which will scaffold them in having a better quality of family life. Enrichment programmes: • In-school nurture support programs • Community inclusion activities • Therapeutic intervention (therapy dogs etc.) • Peer support groups for pupils • Equipment and resources to enable additional programmes over and above the curriculum requirements, to meet induvial needs of children most in need. Whole school fun events/outings: • To promote community inclusion inviting local businesses and schools on site to support understanding and to educate. • Breaking down stereotyping and social barriers. • Providing opportunities to our pupils that are often unattainable due to anxieties and lack of facilities available to safely meet the additional needs of our children and young people. Providing training to parents to increase their capacity to understand and serve the needs of their children, aswell as training them on their own mental health.
