Public benefits

[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] We are working on highlighting issues that affect the day to day of Northern Ireland residents based on our own personal experience as well as through consultation with our followers and our board. The end product - in photography or videography - aims at pointing out the

avenues to support the reduction of those issues through lobbying, activism, charity donation, or volunteering. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] We intend to be able to demonstrate the benefit through the following: increased support (whether financial, or through volunteering) for the organisations we support; increased engagement with the organisations or individuals (through press coverage, governmental hearings, or being in receipt of public funds); media coverage of the issues we are covering, to the benefit of the communities that need it; increased political engagement and human rights education. There is no harm arising from the purpose. [Who are the charity's beneficiaries?] Anyone residing in Northern Ireland can benefit from their issues being brought to the fore. Additionally, anyone outside of Northern Ireland, specifically Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland but also the wider Europe and international residents can benefit from learning about Northern Ireland, the areas that deserve socio-political attention and investment, and our shared history. [Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary?] Organisations that we profile, or individuals whose work is being highlighted, will benefit from our work. Because our mission is to signpost to those conducting human rights work, whether as a collective or an individual, those will benefit from the work.

What your organisation does

We are using photography and cinematography are our main medium. The photography serves as an illustration of our purpose as our message is carried through the use of our poster. It also highlights specific individuals and/or locations. We will also produce documentaries (mid length and feature length), to highlight particular issues of concern

that a single interview or a single photoshoot won't do enough justice. We will produce with a local crew and with the support of local production companies.
