What your organisation does

The main purpose of the Friends of the Fin is to make the school a better place for the children to learn. We want to make sure every child gets the same opportunities, no matter what background or culture: a) we apply raised funds to help the school with upgraded ICT equipment so the children are getting the same educational opportunities as

others and do not fall behind. b) We create community events to support the area and help with the aftermath of Covid, especially with the elderly and vulnerable community. c) applied grants can be put towards the development of the children with a focus on SEN children. We can provide equipment and resources that the children would otherwise not receive. d) We work with other local school to build cross community relations and build this infrastructure at a young age by providing sports events. e) children can get a better quality of life as the charity can provide them with afterschool activities and care that they would normally not be able to afford. f) children can have the same development levels and reach their potential by us providing them with essential equipment that will excel them further i.e ICT, books, ipads, sports equipment, outdoor play, gardening resources, SEN resources and sensory equipment.
