What your organisation does
Establishing a new woodland of circa 10 hectares, comprising a mix of native trees and plants on existing farmland alongside the Agivey River near Garvagh, Co Derry. Maintaining and managing the woodland according to best forestry practice. Setting up suitable walking routes for people wishing to explore nature and biodiversity. Arranging
occasional demonstrations of traditional farming methods and practices, and/or of older machinery and equipment in an authentic setting. Setting up a board of trustees to manage and oversee all aspects of the Trust's activities.
