Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: a well maintained estate for local residents, improved health and well-being, reduced levels of social isolation, increased sustainability, good/community relations, increased communication between all residents about their concerns and aspirations within the estate, and safety and security

for all residents. Engagement with local agencies has provided improved services for our beneficiaries such as improved housing, reduced antisocial behaviour, clean and well maintained streets and roads and a strong community spirit in the area. This can be demonstrated by an improved overall appearance of Greenvale Park estate achieved by working in conjunction with residents and statutory agencies and by increasing participation in both our social activities and community clean ups. As the area of benefit is quite small the committee have regular contact with residents and receive feedback on a regular basis. There is no harm arising from the organisation's purposes. The beneficiaries are the residents of Greenvale Park estate. There is no harm arising from the organisations purposes. Greenvale Park residents A private benefit to trustees may arise from a trustee developing their skills and experiences through organising and attending the community events or training classes which may then be useful to them in other settings. This benefit is incidental and necessary in the delivery of the benefits

What your organisation does

Greenvale Park Community Group is a cross community organisation that aims to provide the residents of Greenvale Park with activities, services and information, to improve the quality of life for residents whilst also improving the local environment. Our organisation carries out its purposes by supplying information to our tenants via leaflets,

newsletters and a Facebook page set up exclusively for Greenvale Park residents. We also attend HCN Meetings, Interagency Meetings, Estate Inspections and liaise with all relevant statutory and voluntary bodies to improve conditions for all of our residents. When possible we organise Christmas activities which provides the opportunity for residents to come together and we run community clean ups to maintain the overall appearance of the estate.
