By having on display the papers and artefacts of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hume so that visitors and students of peace studies can see how discussions, meetings and compromise can resolve conflict and lead to a better understanding between factions.

Charitable purposes

The Charity is established for the education of persons in the field of peace, the understanding of peaceful activities and the achievement of conflict resolution through dialogue and mutual understanding. The displaying of the Prizes and Archive is to show that peaceful activities and conflict resolution is a slow process in order to establish a lasting conclusion.
