Increased social interaction and community development as well as education are the main benefits achieved by all the participants in the classes which are held on a regular basis. Granaghan Resource Centre is available for any local groups to hold classes or activities. The number of people attending these classes on a regular basis is testament

to the popularity and need for the wide variety of classes and activities taking place. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. Members of the local and wider community. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

Northern Counties Development Association has built Granaghan Resource Centre which is used for a variety of classes such as art, patchwork, quilting, dress making, crochet, yoga, pilates, bridge, flower arranging, caligraphy, GCSE's, computers, upcycling and crafts for Open Doors Club (special needs group).

Charitable purposes

The objects of the Association shall be for the benefit of the inhabitants of Granaghan and the neighbourhood thereof and are to advance education, relieve poverty, preserve and protect health, relieve the aged and disabled and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
