public which benefits from our Fund is any member of the public living within 5 mile radius of Newtownstewart Medical Centre who suffer from a chronic illness or a terminal illness. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.

The Fund is able to consider applications made by the District Nurses or General Practitioners on behalf of chronically or terminally ill patients. The persons that can benefit from the grant is those living in a 5 mile radius of Newtownstewart Medical Centre.

Charitable purposes

The Fund is established to improve the quality of life of chronically and terminally ill persons in the Newtownstewart area who wish to be cared for at home by making cash donations to the patients or their carers for their relief. In addition the fund may in exceptional circumstances make available specialist equipment and aids for their care.
