Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from the purpose of the organisation are improved relationships between school, home and the wider community, the provision of funding for amenities that are not normally available. Effective engagement between home and school leads to an increased understanding and involvement in education. The benefits from the aims

can be demonstrated through the high engagement levels of pupils, parents, staff and the community at events. These benefits are achieved by having an active PTA working in partnership with the school and through engagement with parents providing pupils with access to much needed resources as well as to events, activities and links with the community. There is no harm arising from the purposes. The beneficiaries of the charity are the children of Tullygally Primary School. Trustees (PTA members) are usually parents or guardians at the school which their child(ren) attend and gain the same benefits as other beneficiaries. The benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.
